Macphie’s continued commitment to budding young chefs and bakers is an achievement that had to be properly encapsulated.

PR experts at Holyrood PR know the impact of good photography is second to none when it comes to making an impression on the media.

That’s why we obtained high-quality, in-the-moment images of seven young school pupils who were given an in-depth introduction to the inner workings of Macphie Ltd, helping them kickstart their career in the food and drink industry.

Adding to the long list of positive initiatives in place for pupils and students, the food firm recently hosted young, promising food scientists at its Glenbervie factory where they had a chance to concoct and simulate the commercial development of their very own new dessert sauces – a unique and rare opportunity that had to be captured by PR photography.

Along with the issuing of a release, images of the pupils engaging in product development as they cooked up and trialled their concoctions in the Macphie kitchens made for an eye-catching package that was pitched to top trade and regional publications across Scotland.

The pupils in Macphie branded chef aprons and hair nets with various cooking appliances provided the perfect photographic opportunity that was sure to make an impact with the media.

An image of the pupils with the firm’s Chairman, Alastair Macphie, ensured the release made its mark, highlighting the family-run brand as a leader in its sector when it comes to providing a wealth of opportunities to the younger generation and workforce.

The story about the firm’s highly unique offerings needed pristine photos to match – and the final media package showcased just that.
