Innovative new Thai restaurant uses PR photography to give a sneak peak, ahead of big launch event
WHEN a worldwide restaurant brand decides to deviate from its global formula for success, you can be sure its’s going to be something special.
That’s exactly what takeaway specialist Thai Express had planned for the launch of its first ever venue dedicated to dining in – also the first of its 350 outlets to serve alcohol.
We were brought on board to help launch the new venue – named Thai Express Kitchen – in Edinburgh’s £1 billion St James Quarter, a development that had already attracted a slew of rival restaurants.
To cut through the noise in an incredibly competitive market, we helped deliver a highly effective pub and restaurant PR campaign at extremely short notice.
A vital element of that campaign was powerful images to whet the appetite of diners desperate to learn about what was coming at the location.
So, our in-house digital PR team visited the venue – while it was still being fitted out and – captured these high-impact images. They showed important elements of the venue’s design, colour scheme – and its first-of-its-kind “double decker” seating, which was so innovative it needed special planning permission
These images not only graced the media across print, online and specialist publications, they were also used and shared extensively across social media, delivering incredible reach and value.
