Social Care PR experts help to tell story of 88-year-old’s nature-inspired art display

AN INSPIRING resident at one of Edinburgh’s most luxurious care homes has become a symbol of creativity and resilience in later life, with his first public art exhibition at the age of 88.

Martin Birkhans unveiled his debut art exhibition, “Sketches from a Wheelchair” attracting acclaim from major media titles and a surge of public interest thanks to help and support from our social care PR team.

The pensioner, a resident at Cramond Residence, created all of the featured artwork from within the care home, inspired by its picturesque gardens and tranquil setting.

In collaboration with the team at Cramond Residence care home, we helped share Martin’s remarkable story by producing a pre-event press release and a follow-up feature. Here are the results:
