ONE of the country’s leading housing providers, Hanover Scotland, has celebrated the grand opening of its new Elgin office.

An official unveiling took place during an open day this month, attended by local councillors Jeremie Fernandes and Peter Bloomfield, alongside employees, nearby businesses, and members of the local community.

The relocation to the new office is part of Hanover’s broader strategy to enhance efficiency and sustainability while continuing to support Scotland’s older population.

Angela Currie, CEO of Hanover Scotland, said: “Our relocation to this new, modern office marks the start of a new chapter for Hanover.

“We say a fond farewell to our old home that saw the circle of life in births, marriages and deaths. Our next steps continue our journey towards sustainability while reaffirming our commitment to supporting older people in Scotland. We look forward to celebrating this important step with our community.”

The relocation follows the September opening of Hanover’s new Edinburgh headquarters, which reinforced the housing provider’s focus on environmentally conscious practices. The Elgin office builds on this momentum, ensuring services remain accessible and sustainable.

Councillor Jeremie Fernandes added: “It was wonderful to join the celebrations at the office launch. Hanover’s ongoing commitment to the local area is clear, and I look forward to continuing to work with the team in the future.”

Dougie McPhee, Housing Manager for Hanover Scotland, highlighted the practical benefits of the new facility: “The new office provides a welcoming, modern environment that fosters collaboration and connection. It’s a platform from which we can efficiently support our customers and employees alike.”

For over 40 years, Hanover Scotland has been a cornerstone of housing and support, managing over 5,000 homes across the country. The organisation remains steadfast in its commitment to fostering independence, community, and comfort for its tenants.
