Care home show off bursting activity calendar in PR photography

















WITH THE dedicated lifestyle team at Cramond Residence focused on providing five-star care to residents, photography experts from our Scottish PR agency stepped in to capture these moments.
Cramond offers a jam-packed excursions and activities rota centred around providing residents with fun and fulfilling lives with offerings aimed at stimulating both the mind and body. The home offers unique sports such as archery as well as seasonal events and parties – activities perfectly encapsulated with photography.
In order to captivate the audience, our PR experts knew that it was key to illustrate the stories that we were issuing to press on the multitude of activities at the home so that the brilliant facilities and standard of care were showcased in the best possible way.

This is why the Holyrood PR team suggested that we attend key events at the home to achieve the high-level quality photography that would really grab the media’s attention.
Initially, we attended the home’s Hoedown Throwdown event, which saw residents enjoying some themed dancing, a BBQ, traditional line dancing and music courtesy of local guitar players to celebrate the end of Summer.
We then visited the home on separate occasions to capture the more regularly occurring activities at Cramond, which include the home’s indulgent weekly spa mornings and memory workshops with the aim of relieving frustrations for residents with impaired cognitive function and those living with dementia.
The Fettes College Fun Day saw 14 students, aged 16-17, from Fettes College visit Cramond as volunteers where they were able to form connections with the residents across various activities, including arts and crafts, nail painting and gentle exercise classes.

The photographs taken on these visits helped to further elevate the impact of the media release, creating a compelling package which caught the attention of local and sector specific media outlets.
