A heart-warming photography campaign captured a housing developer’s community initiative thanks to our property PR experts.

Dundas Estates called in our PR experts to spread news of its Musselburgh community fund far and wide, which saw five good causes in the local area awarded £1000 each.

The £5000 donation came as the Livingston-based firm launched its 140-home Wireworks development in the seaside town, forming part of its pledge to deliver lasting benefits to Musselburgh.

Initially, experts from Holyrood PR arranged a professional photographer to capture images of the Head of Sales and Marketing at Dundas, Craig Fairfoull, with members of the community council against the beautiful backdrop of Musselburgh beach.

These photographs featured heavily throughout releases that were issued on the initial stages of the community fund journey, which included the announcement, the extension follow-up, as well as the campaign’s success.

Once the five recipients were then chosen out of the pool of 12 worthy applicants, Holyrood PR arranged additional shoots to capture a selection of powerful images for each organisation.

These photos accompanied the recipient announcement release, as well as being used extensively on the developer’s social media platforms, with individual posts dedicated to each group showcasing the benefits they bring to the local area.

Photography at Hollies Community Hub, Blue Triangle Housing Association, First Step Community Project, Changes East Lothian and DadsWork was arranged in and around Musselburgh, with photos depicting the volunteers, as well as the great work that each cause was contributing to society.

The photographs helped to further elevate the impact of the media releases and social media posts throughout the community fund campaign, creating a compelling package which caught the attention of local and sector specific media outlets.
