A flood of the world’s best young golfers will be heading to Scotland once more as the U.S. Kids Golf European Championship returns for the 6th consecutive year.

The world’s junior golfing elite will be travelling from all over the world to tee off over five famous East Lothian courses: Gullane No. 2, Gullane No. 3, Craigielaw Golf Club, Luffness New Golf Club and Longniddry Golf Club.

The U.S. Kids Golf European Championship – Europe’s premier junior tournament – is happening between May 28-30 and this year will take place only a short drive from the location of the year’s The Open Championship at Muirfield.

It means that the world’s golfing best, both current and future, will be locking horns in East Lothian for the first time.

Tournament co-coordinator and Gullane Golf Club Professional Alasdair Good popped into the Holyrood PR to liaise with us on our 5th year of promoting this fantastic event. Here he talks about how the tournament just keeps getting bigger and better and highlights what it is he’s looking forward to this year.

If you, like us, are getting excited for this tournament, why not check out the latest updates on our website and on the official U.S. Golf European Championship Facebook Page.
