City centre accommodation checks in to the media with story about street workouts for guests
A CITY centre hotel is encouraging guests to hit the ground running this New Year with a new fitness programme.
STAY Central Hotel is offering fitness fanatics the chance to get out of the gym and embrace a full work out on the streets of Edinburgh. Ideally located at the heart of Edinburgh’s Old Town, guests and locals alike get the chance to get fit in the most scenic of surroundings.
We shared the news with the press, with highlights including:
- Front page of Edinburgh Now – a supplement of leading national title, the Daily Record
- An article in the city’s top paper – the Edinburgh Evening News
- A feature on health and fitness blog, Healthy Edinburgh Blog
In total, the story reached over 500,000 people – kickstarting STAY Central’s New Year with a bang!
From running up the Royal Mile, planking in Princes Street Gardens to ab crunching on Calton Hill, visitors to Edinburgh’s trendiest new hotel can now enjoy a whistle stop tour of the city whilst keeping fit.
STAY Central is offering four, hour long sessions a week – either running or on bicycle – that are free to attend for both guests and Edinburgh residents.
The run club takes place on Wednesday evening at 6.30pm and Sunday morning at 11am; the cycle club (bikes can be rented from the hotel) is held every Thursday at 6.30pm with the urban gym sessions every Saturday morning at 9am.
