The development of high street giant Primark in Edinburgh has been flagged up on a dedicated news website designed specifically for women.
Female targeted site Informed Women has revised its ‘Edinburgh Primark Update’ section to now include information on the fashion retailers forthcoming public consultation.
The month-by-month updates have caught up with news that Primark will be carrying out an extensive public consultation exercise.
Under the heading ‘January 2010’ the article informs readers that the public are invited to view and make comment on the Princes Street store plans via a website.
Primark recently announced it had purchased a building on Scotland’s most famous shopping street and now – as part of new Scottish planning laws – the company are seeking opinion on how the finished building should look.
A website called Have Your Say has been set up for anyone to express their views and to share comments with others.
Informed Women state the facts and figures of Primark’s grand plans and urges its readers to visit Primark’s website.
The integrated public relations and social media strategy for the campaign is being handled by the Holyrood PR, public relations Scotland.
