CATRIONA got her first taste of working in public relations while completing an internship at Holyrood PR after graduating from University.

She then gained a valuable six months of experience with a Manchester-based PR agency, working on accounts for well-known corporate and commercial clients, including a major Scottish bank.

However, Catriona soon returned to the team at Holyrood PR, where she was first inspired her to pursue a career in public relations and now works across clients including Scottish Water and Edinburgh Children’s Hospital Charity.

Originally from London, Catriona has settled in the beautiful city of Edinburgh. She was first drawn to the city to study interpreting and translating in both French and Spanish at Heriot-Watt University. That led to her spending a year abroad, split between Madrid and Tours in France.

That was followed by a Masters in International Management and Business Communications also at Heriot-Watt.

Outside of the office, former gymnast Catriona’s hobbies include swimming and hiking. She is also a keen painter who loves to capture portraits in oils and acrylics.
