CAMERON made the leap from Journalism to PR in January 2020, after spending around 18 months in Edinburgh’s top press agency Deadline News, where he rose to the position of Deputy News Editor.
Cameron graduated from Edinburgh Napier University in 2018 after studying Journalism. He was awarded with a first-class degree and received the Clement’s Family Prize for Journalism.
Throughout his university career, Cameron had success on a national level after winning Sports Story of the Year at the Scottish Student Journalism Awards 2017, and being nominated for the Broadcast Story the following year. Cameron was also identified as a ‘Rising Star’ at Channel 4’s 4Talents scheme, and did a six week internship with STV News in 2018.
In his spare time, you can find Cameron on the rugby pitch. Fortunately, he doesn’t come back to the office on Monday with too many scrapes and bruises.
