Edinburgh Fringe doesn’t stop PR agency breaking the news
With the Edinburgh Festival Fringe getting into full swing, our clients have also been putting on a glittering performance this week, resulting in a real spectacle of media coverage.
First up we had an extremely sobering tale as we were raising awareness for those forced into the country through illegal trafficking.
More specifically, we ensured a highly informative and in-depth piece on human trafficking for the Scottish Business Resilience Centre on the STV News at Six, highlighting to landlords and letting agents that they must be more vigilant, as most trafficked individuals stay in rented accommodation.
With a fantastic showing in The Herald, the story also went on to be featured on a variety of news, property and legal web sites.
Double the stories, double the coverage. Holyrood PR agency put their client Blackwood centre stage, after we secured target media coverage for the announcement of its £17m business strategy and new appointment.
Angela Currie, who has 20 years experience in the social housing sector, has now taken up the role of Housing and Care Director and will be helping Blackwood to drive forward its bid for innovation.
Meanwhile, Chief Executive, Fanchea Kelly also toured the country alongside Head of Business Services, Wendy Russell, to unveil Blackwood’s new £17m business strategy to all of its regional offices.
Coverage scored a sparkling five stars across the board with features in the Scottish Business News Network, Housing Scotland Today and Scottish Housing News – among many other care titles.
The Banks Community Fund, part of the Hamilton-based Banks Group have seen a swarm of headlines after we told the story of their recent £1386 donation to the Avondale Community beekeepers. The group has been given a real boost, after 9,000 bees were put in peril as their hives were senselessly vandalised.
The story feature heavily in targeted local titles thanks to our eye-catching PR photography we arranged to capture the fantastic community involvement with three of the group’s youngest members.
And the results were as sweet as honey, with fantastic coverage in the National and in local papers, the Hamilton Advertiser and East Kilbride News.
