Raising a glass to PR successHeadlines Galore for tiny pub with huge character

The  Wee Pub in Edinburgh has opened its doors for the first time – and landed a raft of media coverage in the process.

The PR success was delivered thanks to the work of Holyrood PR, after we organised a photoshoot to celebrate the launch of the pint-sized hostelry

We arranged a series of fun pictures to show just how compact the Grassmarket venue is – with images showing three young barmaids stretching the width of the pub an other pics showing how there is standing room only for 20 people.

Big on atmosphere

Wee Pub on STV websiteThe story and pictures got a great show in one of the country’s biggest  popular newspapers – with the Daily Record giving over almost half a page to the story in print.

That means it reached the paper’s huge army of readers, sinc more than 250,00 people buy the paper every day.

Also, the Record gave the story a major show in its website, which attracts millions of views from readers all over the world.

Meanwhile the story also appeared in Scotland’s biggest-selling daily newspaper, the Scottish Sun. The fun-loving tabloid – which sells more than 285,000 copies every day – reported the story with the headline ‘Pint sized pub open’.

On top of being reported in the country’s two biggest newspapers, the story also featured on the STV website, another popular news source read by hundreds of thousands of web surfers.
