We go to Everest and back for our clients

PR agency present mountains of PR coverage this week

It was in this week 27 years ago that the first American woman reached the summit of Mount Everest and to mark the occasion we have been achieving mountains of coverage for our clients.

Connect2Renewables. Onshore wind farm event in Scottish Parliament. - HolyroodPR First up our client Banks Renewables, along with Christina McKelvie MSP, climbed into the headlines after hosting a major event at the Scottish Parliament last week.

The well-attended reception was the national launch of its Connect2Renewables programme and an opportunity for the onshore wind industry to fight back against Westminster cuts.

As always we played an advisory role and stirred up the media interest for the event and managed to secure a slot for Director, Colin Anderson to appear on STV’s flagship current affairs show Scotland Tonight – taking on Conservative MSP Alex Johnstone on the lead seven minute slot – delivering on a major target for the Renewables firm.

Ensuring a positive follow up to the impressive broadcast coverage, we have so far secured coverage with influential trade, political and business news outlets, as well as evergreen PR photography for Banks Renewables and online video

The regenerated site in Edinburgh's city Centre will launch Saturday 3 OctoberIt’s a surprise that CALA Homes aren’t suffering from altitude sickness after reaching the dizzying heights of the national press sharing the story of its upcoming launch of four new brownfield site developments over the next 12 months.

What’s a brownfield, you ask? They are old unused areas that CALA homes will regenerate into new luxurious homes.  The new properties are being built on sites that used to be a Royal Mail depot, a Scottish Water treatment site, a quarry and a paper mill.

News of CALA’s dedication to regeneration spread fast, securing coverage in The Scotsman, Scotland on Sunday, The Herald (on two separate occasions) and the Daily Express.

Bield AGM 2015Finally this week, leading housing and care provider Bield, held their annual AGM in order to recap on the achievements over the past year.

As part of our ongoing PR campaign, the team showed up armed with still and video cameras to support the event, capturing the key moments with Bield’s staff and board members.

By carrying out interviews with the Chief Executive Brian Logan and the Chair of Bield Gerry O’Sullivan we kept them on the track to media success and gave them valuable content to use internally and externally as part of their ongoing communications strategy.
