A respected water industry journal has featured the work of a quirky robot – deployed to great effect by water quality specialists Panton McLeod.

The company, which has bases in the Scottish Borders and Nottingham, uses its VR600 machine to clean service reservoirs and other drinking water structures.

It means supplies which might otherwise have to be disconnected – leaving customers with no water at the tap – can remain in supply while still being cleaned to the most exacting standards.

Now the innovative work has been featured on the influential Water and Wastewater.com, one of the most important voices in the sector.
