Courier director creates PR Scotland
Eagle Couriers director, Jerry Stewart, is strongly opposed to Shore Energy’s plans to create a pyrolysis plant which will create energy from waste products.
He is one of 6000 people said to oppose the development in the Carnbroe area of Coatbridge.
He believes the plant will have severe health implications for local residents and users of the adjacent A8, as the Scottish Government aims to reach its Zero Waste Plan targets.
Stewart is encouraging more people to take a stronger stand against these plans and ensure a local community’s efforts to reduce its carbon footprint is not wasted by this facility.
Damage claims have been firmly denied by the firm.
