Edinburgh’s top solicitor estate agenct Warners has revealed new advice for home sellers in Scotland about the best ways to get their properties ready to go on the market.
Estate agency partner Scott Brown explained that, as the housing market was currently experiencing a glut of properties, sellers needed to think more creatively about how to attract the interest of potential buyers.
Scott said that many sellers do not make enough effort in getting their properties ready to go on the market, and this could easily put off a would-be buyer – particularly if there are similar properties for sale in their area which may be more appealing.
However, he said that there were some simple tips that sellers could follow, such as replacing carpets, cleaning skirting boards and sprucing up a garden area, that would dramatically improve a property’s marketability without breaking the bank.
The video was produced and edited by an experienced team of public relations experts from Holyrood PR PR in Scotland.
