Edinburgh’s top solicitor estate agent Warners has received another boost to its PR in Scotland after being featured in the country’s biggest-selling newspaper.

The firm was prominently highlighted in the property pages of The Sun after revealing its latest analysis of Scotland’s proeprty market – and the plight of first time buyers.

Warners said that, as public sector job cuts and pension fears were affecting consumer confidence, many parents were no longer able to help out their children with a deposit for their first home. Estate agency partner Scott Brown told the paper that the situation meant the bank of mum and dad was beiong replaced by the “bank of gran and granddad”, as grandparents were stepping in to help first time buyers instead.
