PR video unveils hotel expansion in Edinburgh’s old town
Drone filming Scotland expert showcases expansion of city-centre hotel in historic location
The video’s opening shot provides a birds-eye-view of Surgeons’ Hall and Edinburgh’s iconic North Bridge, with our Phantom 4 Drone illustrating the hotel’s prominent position in the heart of the city’s Old Town.
Entering the courtyard and lawns of the neighbouring buildings, owned by The Royal College of Surgeons, guests are shown arriving at the lively event and continuing through the impressive building to the drinks reception.
One of the speakers at the event describes how the expansion was aided by the hotel team and contractors who made the process as smooth as possible.
A countdown to the hotel relaunch is displayed on the screen, with guests and staff raising their glasses in celebration as the counter hits zero and the newly expanded hotel is officially open.
Aerial footage is used once again, contrasting with the traditional video used inside the hotel and further illustrating the building’s central location within the Royal College of Surgeons.
Operated by the college’s commercial arm, Surgeons Quarter, Ten Hill Place is now Edinburgh’s largest independent hotel following an expansion from 77 to 129 rooms.
