Watch the public relations work that earned us seven nominations
Holyrood PR junior executive, Stuart Milne is the lucky presenter to showcase all our campaigns nominated for the prestigious CIPR Pride Awards. Throughout the past year we have worked on public relations campaigns with BUPA care homes, Perth and Kinross Council, Scottish Pipes and Drums Trust and Scottish Business Resilience Centre.
And now we are happy to present the campaigns that have earned us not one but seven nominations.
We were approached by the Scottish Business Resilience Centre (SBRC) to face the challenge of establishing the SBRC as the centre for advice, leadership and collaboration on cyber crime.
We showed key targets the value of SBRC’s ethical hacker service with a series of stories, from introducing the newest face, Lisa, to the SBRC’s etical hacking team , and followed up with the latest innovations at SBRC’s cyber crime conference.
After its recent status change from town to city, the City of Perth and Perthshire has a lot to offer visitors from around the world. And it was our job to make sure the world knew that Perth was open for business and tourist events. An innovative project required innovative thinking to reach a very specific audience. Which is when our team created origianl, story-led content from Perth based attractions to send to tour operators.
Bagpipe Amnesty Hits The Right Note – We played the piper when it came to getting coverage with the Scottish Schools Pipe Band Trust who held a bagpipe amnesty. Thanks to the media exposure we secured, we saw bagpipes donated to young people across Scotland from as far away as America.
The Nan Who Loves Naan – When 103-year-old Maragaret Philips said that she tributes he longevity to a good curry, the media coverage poured in dubbing her “the nan who loves naan. Bupa’s Balcarres care homes and Margaret saw a second wave of mentions when Margaret won the Scottish Curry lover of the year award.
We even managed to see Chris Fairbairn shortlisted in “Young Communicator of the Year”.
