Teeing us off is news of a very exciting discovery at what is set to be one of St Andrews best night hotspots – Forgans. Contractors working onsite discovered a set of ancient golf clubs, which dates back to the 1860s. The Market Street venue is the site of an old ‘cleek factory’ Forgan’s which was renowned for creating some of the world’s best golf clubs and the story of the find was picked up in The Scotsman, Metro and Courier  – perfect timing for its launch.

The staple of any hunger busting packed lunches, picnics and afternoon teas is of course the sandwich and they have given a glamorous makeover by Scottish fine dining experts Sodexo Prestige – just in time for National Sandwich Week. As featured in the Edinburgh Evening News, chefs at the Royal Botanic Gardens Edinburgh invited some little helpers along to launch the ‘super sarnie.’

Blowing in next is news from Banks Renewables which has been embracing its community focussed approach by inviting local communities to attend public exhibitions close to its Bandirran and Middle Muir sites. Attendees at the chance to find out more about the proposed wind farms and to learn more about the unique partnership opportunities.
