Holyrood PR TV Episode 65

Holyrood PR

This week we’ve mostly been under the flashing glare of the camera lens and first grabbing the lens photo call was Edinburgh College, which launched Scotland’s first ever solar meadow last week. While the weather might not have been sunny enough for shorts and t shirts, staff and students at the college and MSP Colin Beattie donned wellies and umbrellas to celebrate the launch.

A sci-fi esque photoshoot took us back to the future with the help of Maison Bleue restaurant on Victoria Street and a vintage Delorean Car. The Edinburgh food and drink stalwart is celebrating 15 years of service, with a special lunch menu which transports customers back to prices from 1998 when the restaurant first launched.
Some fantastic shots were taken on the day which made a page lead in the Edinburgh Evening News.

Our final shoot this week took to one of Edinburgh’s most scenic gardens and saw us snapping some young sightseers enjoy a tasty sandwich snack. Another pile of fantastic pictures landed on our desks and be sure to look out for them in the press over the coming weeks.

If the rapid flashing got you feeling the hunger bang, our Holyrood Recommends took us to Oink on Victoria Street for a bap packed meat feast. Certainly not one easily missed with a spit-roasted pig perched in the window inviting customers to come in and sample succulent pork pulled rolls.
