This week we hit with news of a luxury hotel making style waves in the interior press, futuristic heating keeping punters in a local pub warm and news of one of the coolest places in the UK to live – right here in Edinburgh. 

Finding the perfect hotel can be a hard one to nail but if you’re looking for affordability, hot spot location, luxury and style – then Murrayfield House here in Edinburgh could be the one for you. After launching earlier this year the hotel, which is owned by G1 Group, has already proved it has the wow factor with a splash in The Scotsman Magzine which detailed the hotel’s offering of a home to home feel whilst boasting luxury and elegance.

Direct Savings remains hot on the press after scoring another piece sizzling piece of coverage on its space age heating systems in the Edinburgh Evening News. Located in Edinburgh’s prestigious Marchmont area, local boutique boozer the Earl of Marchmont became the first pub in Scotland to install Direct Saving’s futuristic Infranomic heating system, helping the owners ensure the only draughts in the place were the ones coming out the taps.

You may have seen in the news this week that the Stockbridge area of Edinburgh was listed as the third coolest place to live in the UK. So this week we thought we’d check out what the area has to offer and recommend a few cool spots to check out just in time for the weekend.
