The Holyrood team is kick-starting October with some a photocall for a highly anticipated launch, an exciting new initiative for Scotland’s young entrepreneurs, some eco friendly packaging and someone who is bringing home the bacon.

On 1 October we organised an exciting photo call with Cabinet Secretary for Education Mike Russell to mark the launch of the new Edinburgh College. Edinburgh College is now the single largest further education institution in Scotland with more than 35,000 students – the biggest student body in Edinburgh.

This week’s Holyrood Recommends is Edinburgh’s green company of the year, Vegware. The UK’s first and only completely compostable food packaging company. Vegware make a range of products including coffee cups, sandwich boxes and cutlery entirely entirely from plants. Visit their website for more information. 

Finally a big well done to Account Executive Victoria, who brought home the bacon this month. Not only is Victoria working hard to increase our Facebook engagement she impressed current client Roselle so much that they extended their contract with us!
