Holyrood PR TV Episode 34

This week our newest recruit Lisa Addie takes to the presenter’s chair and reveals all about what’s been happening in the Holyrood PR office over the past seven days – starting with a new client win for the team.

The Rock Trust has come appointed us to handle its PR for the launch of Sleep Out 2012 which will be taking place in November in Festival Square Edinburgh. The event which sees people sleeping rough for one night only aims to raise awareness of the number of young homeless people in Scotland as well as raise funds for the charity. Kathleen O’Mahoney from The Rock Trust reveals all about the event and why people should get involved.

In other news, we have secured some great pieces of coverage for the new Edinburgh College in the Edinburgh Evening News and Midlothian Advertiser after it announced the appointment of its new principal.

We also secured headlines in the business press (Business 7, The Scotsman and Edinburgh Evening News) for UWI Label, after they broke news of its trip to America in the hopes of securing international investment. The label warns when food and other products are nearing their expiry date.

This week, we are recommending a new app called mi Leith, which aims to give people a guide to the best shops, restaurants, bars and more in the area, as well as special offers.

And finally you may have been reading our recent blogs which detail our bootcamp exploits – we will be updating these weekly, so stay tuned to follow our progress.
