Fireworks ablaze as PR goes off with a bang

PR agency take sparkle to their clients with award-winning PR

Remember remember the 5th of November – as Holyrood TV goes pun mad for fireworks! Are you ready? Here they come… It’s been an explosive week at Holyrood PR with even more sparkling coverage kicking us off with a bang!

Blackwood HQ Launch in EdinburghFirst up is Blackwood. When our innovative care client announced it was set to make a major business investment and expand into Dundee, we set about announcing the news throughout the City of Discovery and beyond.

The ambitious charity, which currently has offices in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen and Stirling, sees the launch of its new premises as a pivotal step to provide its service users with enhanced care and housing.

News of the charity’s expansion spread across local, business and care media, with stand out hits in the Courier, the Dundee Evening Telegraph and The Scotsman, as well as online on Scottish Business News Network, Posability Magazine and Scottish Housing News.

Edinburgh Courier PRNext we move onto our client Eagle Couriers, whose coverage was on fire this week. After recently completing a move to a purpose-built new HQ in Bathgate we were tasked with raising publicity for the good work they are doing in West Lothian.

So we enlisted the help of local MP, Hannah Bardell, who declared Eagle’s new nest open. After arranging this with the extremely helpful MP we set up a photoshoot and our videographer went along to capture top quality video coverage.

We then went on to secure fantastic coverage in the The National, West Lothian Courier and The Scotsman. And just when you think the fireworks stop, more coverage came thanks to the video release we made to support the story securing exposure on BQ Live.

Mandy Haeburn Little is the Director of Scottish Business Resilience CentreOur third firework display, came when we encouraged our client The Scottish Business Resilience Centre (or SBRC for short) to give its expert opinion on the Talk Talk hacking crisis.

The media profile we’ve built for SBRC meant that director, Mandy Haeburn-Little, secured a spot on  STV News, while coverage also appeared in The Times, SC Magazine, Scotland B2B, the Daily Record, and the in front of the massive BBC website readership. BOOM!
