Episode 29 Of Holyrood PR TV

This week’s episode of Holyrood PR TV brings you the latest news from the PR team, which this week includes a visit to Telford College, a new iphone app and one very dirty Barbie.

Edinburgh’s Telford College welcomed students from the USA this week, when they were chosen to host this year’s 9/11 UK summer Camp. The college’s international achievements meant they were first choice to help host the Scottish leg of the summer camp designed to give children who have been affected by the tragic events of 9/11 a chance to get a taste of studying in the UK. The students were welcomed in style with a pipe band and mocktails!

One of our newest clients, DIY PPI, have created an inexpensive app that allows those reclaiming Payment Protection Insurance to do it with minimal hassle using no middle men. So far the app has been featured in The Scottish Sun’s personal finance pages. You can download the app for yourself on apples app store.

Our Holyrood recommends this week goes to a fabulous new show in this year’s Festival Fringe. Dirty Barbie and other girlhood tales is whirlwind ride through the life of Dee Dee Stewart who tells all about her ‘fun’ dysfunctional life growing up as an all American girl in North Carolina in the 70s, 80s and 90s. This one is definitely not to be missed. Tickets are available from http://www.assemblyfestival.com

Hardworking Account Manager Laura is bringing home the bacon this month after she was awarded with our resident mascot Marcello for the month of August for her continued hard work and dedication to the Holyrood team. Very well deserved-Well Done Laura!!

So that’s all for this week; apps, Barbie Dolls and a visit from across the pond, stay tuned for more from the team!
