An East Lothian Group Flies High in PR Video with Support from CALA Homes Bursary Initiative

Thanks to the CALA Homes (East) Bursary scheme, the Aviation Preservation Society of Scotland was the worthwhile recipient of a £1,000 bursary to help with their valuable work on aircrafts and artefacts at the National Museum of Flight.

Run in partnership with the East Lothian Courier, the initiative awarded donations to a range of organisations carrying out important community work in the region.

With the group set to use the funds to build a second World War One aircraft, we knew we had to capture it on film.

Interviewed in the video, society fundraiser Graham Lohan speaks of the importance of the group in the lives of some members, offering a hobby and focus in retirement.

Using a combination of expertly shot drone footage in the APSS warehouse alongside interviews with society members, the result is a captivating video of the group’s dedication and focus set against East Lothian’s rolling countryside.
