PR agency deliver star coverage worthy of christmas tree
When everyone begins to think about Christmas shopping and the office party, businesses will often assume their PR agency does the same. But Holyrood PR are working twice as hard to ensure our client stories reach the very top of the media tree.
First up is news of a young couple destined for a joyeux Noel following a very public proposal at Musselburgh Racecourse.
Racegoers watched open mouthed as horseracing enthusiast Scott Cunningham took centre stage in the parade ring to ask his girlfriend Danielle Anderson, to marry him. Lucky for all of us, Danielle said yes.
It made the news big-style, featuring in the Edinburgh Evening News as well as hitting the East Lothian News, East Lothian Courier, The Edinburgh Reporter, and The Falkirk Herald to name a few.
We’ve sure been playing our cards right over the past couple of months, aceing the launch of the Cotton Club Casino at Glasgow’s award-winning Corinthian Club.
We made sure to get as many bites of the cherry by securing a full deck of pre and post-launch coverage to announce the arrival of the brand new 1920s-style boutique casino and cocktail bar in the heart of Scotland’s biggest city.
We went all in from the start, with two fantastic pieces in key Glasgow titles The Herald and the Evening Times. From there, the story was picked up online on far-reaching business titles Daily Business Group and Scotland B2B, as well as popular catering and events sites, including the 5pm blog as well as Travel and Tour World.
We also invited journalists from key nationals such as the Daily Mail and the Sun along to the lively, VIP launch party, where they were able to sample the wide variety of new cocktail recipes and try their luck with some free bets.
This was key to ensuring that not only were we hitting media titles but the launch was also getting out to the all important Social media influencers.
Finally, here is a property you’d just love to spend a good old-fashioned Christmas in. The impressive Cotland’s House, a country home on sale through Gilson Gray property was successfully pitched for the Scotsman’s Real Homes supplement, achieving a front page as well as a double page spread – highlighting our client as a proactive estate agent and helping get the property in front of a wide audience of house hunters.
