Holyrood PR TV Episode 10

This week’s episode of Holyrood PR TV is brought to you by our Junior Account Executive Victoria Ancell who reveals our latest client and company news.

There’s a bit of a sports theme this week with news of one our new clients the Caledonian Challenge, a gruelling 54mile trek across the Scottish countryside in 24 hours to raise money for charity. Darren Pike, Fundraising Executive at Scottish Community Foundation, the team behind the endurance challenge tells us why joining this year’s event is a must for anyone looking for a challenge or adventure this year. Anyone wishing to take part in the event which takes place on June 16 – 17 can visit the Caledonian Challenge website for more information.

Scottish rugby fans will feel this courier driver’s pain, when he was tasked with delivering the Calcutta Cup into the arms of the English after the rugby teams shocking defeat against England earlier in the month. Eagle Couriers driver Graham McEwan had to make the 400 mile trek down south after a bitter-sweet contract win for the firm. The story was quickly picked up by the Daily Record allowing Scots everywhere to feel his pain.

Rounding up the week’s coverage we have a hit in The Scotsman’s Smart Money pages for our rental CityLets who report that the number of lets in Scotland has increased by 17.5% with average rents reaching a high of £670 a month.

Owner corporate events firm Roselle, Joanna Daley also recieved a splash in the Daily Record as part of an article to dispell the myth that successful business women can’t have a happy family life.
