Fresh stories in Perth, Disabled Housing Expo and More PR Awards

Uncategorized

Here at Holyrood PR we’ve had a lot to celebrate this week from the announcement of our new award nominations to the spectacular coverage we have achieved for some of our biggest clients.

First up leading housing expert Blackwood unveiled its pioneering new care philosophy to a full house – including guest of honour, Bailie Anne Simpson, who represented the Labour party for the Shettleston area.

The coverage was golden for the housing specialists – scoring key pieces in major care titles such as Care and Nursing Essentials, Housing News, Housing Scotland Today and the Disabled and Supportive Carer Online.

Invest In Perth also received some amazing coverage on their involvement in the innovative “Miconex” loyalty programme. The programme aims to give power back to the High Street, independent retailers and the local community by gifting local shoppers with the best rewards and offers for their loyalty to local stores.

Invest In Perth received a 3 minute exclusive feature on STV’s Friday news bulletin, a front page lead in the Perthshire Courier and a stream of hits on major business titles from the Lothian Business News to the Highland Business News – showing that interest for the scheme has spread across the whole country.

But we had a lot more to celebrate this week than just great coverage for our clients as it was announced we were shortlisted for three nominations at the 2014 Fresh Awards.

We were nominated for Freshest Media Relations Campaign for our work with the Scottish Schools Pipe Band Championships – and received not one, but two, nominations for the Freshest Low Budget Campaign category, going head to head with ourselves for work with clients the Scottish Business Resilience Centre and Indian Restaurant, Khushis.

We are incredibly proud of these nominations, it’s nice to be rewarded for all the hard work that takes place here at Holyrood PR.

That’s all for this weeks instalment of HPR TV but you can check back again next week for another episode where we will be giving you the scoop on our latest stories, releases and client updates.
