Award winning PR Agency Dishing up Tasty Treats for Clients

Uncategorized

With ice creams and birthday cake, Holyrood PR can’t get any sweeter as we deliver more lashings of media coverage to our clients.

This week, Junior Account Executive, Ross Stebbing, worked to ensure Bield‘s latest new members of the “over hundred” club made it into the media this week. Doris Turnbull and Julia Baird, who both live at Bield’s Church Court in Dumbarton celebrated their 100th birthdays just days apart. Remarkably, the hundred year old neighbours, have lived through two World Wars and four monarchs. So friends, family and carers served up well-earned birthday cake as Holyrood attended to capture some great memories of the day to gain lots of media coverage, including an exclusive in The Sunday Post, and more in the Glasgow Evening Times.

Whilst Church Court, were handing out cake, CALA Homes were serving up ice creams. We came up with the idea to hire an ice cream cart to greet potential home buyers at CALA’s Gilsland Grange in East Lothian. The award winning “Raspberry Ripple” themed development, was a winner again as families who visited the showroom received free ice cream.

Sarah Stanger, Sales and Marketing Director at CALA Homes (East) said: “We were delighted when we won the Showhome of the Year and couldn’t wait to celebrate with everyone. We thought the ice cream giveaway was a fitting homage to the seaside theme of our properties, inspired by the beautiful surroundings that North Berwick has to offer.”

Holyrood PR Executive, Heather Peebles organised the event, making sure the release reached the media before and on the day. The story featured in East Lothian News and Evening News. Heather knew the event would be such a success, that she organised for some stunning photos to be taken by our in house photographer, capturing the fun from the day.

Holyrood PR have also been making extra effort to spend time posting blogs written by PR directors Scott Douglas and Raymond Notarangelo. The award-winning PR agency are firm believers that every business has a story to tell, insisting that with the right story spotting and creative skills Holyrood PR can make the unsexiest story fit for media.

These blogs marks a big push in showing and telling about previous successes the Partnership have had at transforming clients unworthy news stories into big media gains.

The pair have also come together to creating a series of blogs that give advice on what businesses looking for PR should be looking for in a PR agency.
