Drone Filming Scotland specialists combine traditional PR video with aerial footage for a striking result
The opening shot shows a bird’s-eye view of Arthur seat, with our Phantom 4 Drone providing panoramic views of Prestonfield House and the surrounding gardens.
Entering the building, the video shows a montage of staff setting up the event, with the dim lighting and tasteful decor creating a perfect elegant backdrop to the evening.
Rachel Baxter, Director of Fundraising and Marketing at ECHC, spoke on camera about the importance of the annual event, thanking everyone who attended and donated prizes to the night’s fundraising games.
Highlights from the event are showcased throughout the video, with women eagerly gathering inside, clinking their glasses, and laughing at their tables. A guest musician is also featured, cheerfully playing his saxophone, followed by 11-year-old Evan Glass stealing the show with a dance routine alongside his coach, Christina Liddell.
Told he only had weeks to live when he was born, with the help of ECHC’s Arts Programme, Evan has been able to transform the way he moved through dance and continues to defy medical experts with his physical resilience. Read more about Evan’s story here.
The event was hosted by local broadcaster Grant Stott, with a few lucky ladies taking home top prizes such as flights to New York and a luxurious stay in North Berwick.
The night was a great success, with Edinburgh Children’s Hospital Charity raising a staggering £84,236.25 and the memorable event has been commemorated on film thanks to our drone and video filming skillset.
