Reactec receive pr in Scotland with Edinburgh Evening News
One the UK’s safety vibration experts have been using an innovative safety device to try and reduce ill health for workers in Holyrood park and Edinburgh Castle.
Reactec’s HAVmeter has been purchased by Historic Scotland to help manage the risk of workers who maintain some of Scotland’s most historic buildings developing Hand Arm Vibration Syndrome (HAVS) whilst using vibrating power tools and equipment.
Managing director at Reactec’s HAVmeter division, Jim O’Hagan said “We’re delighted our HAV meter technology is being used to help maintain safety levels at some of Historic Scotland’s prominent sites.
Reactec is the UK leader in providing vibration analysis and validation for the design stage of new and next-generation technology products, and offers a range of services from expert consultancy to full project implementation.
