on behalf of U.S. Kids Golf European Championship
The East Lothian Courier has carried an article highlighting the economic and tourism boost to the local area with the arrival of the 2009 U.S. Kids Golf European Championships.
The event will see more than 400 youngsters and their families from 38 countries descend on East Lothian.
And organisers estimate that this will bring a six-figure boost to East Lothian and around £2.7m to Scotland as a whole.
The article is the latest piece of positive media coverage for the event following a PR campaign by Holyrood PR. It features quotes from tournament co-ordinator Alasdair Good and tells how many families will turn it into a family holiday and stay longer than just for the duration of the tournament.
