AVENGER PUGS (Victoria)
The following video will be sure to cure your Tuesday blues! Who can resist a cute pug? Especially when they are dressed up and pretending to be superheroes?
The latest YouTube sensation is the ‘Avenger Pugs’ – and I challenge you not to laugh!
This has had us in stitches this morning!
ELECTRIFYING STUNT (Lewis)
Magician David Blaine has completed his most electrifying stunt yet after spending three whole days standing in the middle of a million volts of electricity. The 39-year-old endurance artist emerged unharmed from the ball of electricity last night after having volts conducted around his body for 72 hours.
The illusionist stepped out on to a 20 foot pillar on Friday night dressed in a specially made a chain mail bodysuit, a wire helmet and visor as his only barrier to electric currents being streamed towards his body through tesla coils at New York’s Pier 54
CHARLIE BIT MY FINGER…AGAIN…AND AGAIN… (Sarah)
If you were unaware of the video phenomenon that is ‘Charlie bit my finger’ then I suggest you return the remote, uninhabited part of the world from whence you came. For everyone else – listen up – Charlie and his hard-done-by older brother, are set to have their own web series. The petulant pair have incurred nearly half a billion views from their initial vid, and now they 6 and 8 year old are to be followed about during their day to day business. Hmm, not sure I see this one going very far, but then again, who would have thought a one year old biting his brothers finger on camera would have been so popular in the first place.
A PICTURE SAYS A 1000 WORDS… (Julia)
As the title suggests, more of a picture than a story but I’m sure this will garner some appreciation. Probably one for the ladies, here is the gorgeous David Beckham giving one very, very lucky fan his shirt. I’m sure I’m not alone in my admiration for this beautiful man.
FACEBOOK HUGS (Gaynor)
Many people may get a self satisfying tingly feeling after getting a like on their Facebook page but there’s really no need to tap into your real emotions when you can get a virtual hug. A specially designed body warmer has been created to give Facebook users a hug every time they receive a like on their page. The ‘Like-A-Hug’ jacket inflates when the wearer’s phone sends a signal that there has been activity on Facebook. As I said no need to feel real emotion when a jacket can do this for you. Not sure I will be rushing out to get one of these.
