A national newspaper has written an article on the selfless act of a West Lothian businessman who came to the aid of drivers stuck in the snow.
The Guardian ran the piece under the headline ‘Wrong kind of forecast brings road chaos’ and in the subheading ‘On the roads’ Wayne Gardner Young’s efforts are detailed.
The 43-year-old entrepreuner spent 17 hours clearing paths and helping motorists carry on with their journey when an unprecedented amount of snow hit Scotland in December.
Wayne is quoted in the piece explaining his heavy duty efforts.
The successful businessman owns a number of affluent businesses including Victoria’s Nightlcub in Glasgow, the Buchanan Arms Hotel and Spa in Dryman, north of Glasgow, and Kairn Park Hotel in Bathgate. His next venture includes building a luxury boutique hotel in Glasgow’s city centre and and opening an eco-friendly theme park in West Lothian.
