BARTON MAKES A TWEET OF HIMSELF (Laura)

Uh-oh Joey Barton has gone and done it again! The footballer who is famed fro his fiery temper has recently turned to Twitter to unleash his vexations and last night was no different when Mr Barton decided to have a go at not one but ALL of the members of the TOWIE cast via the social network. The argument kicked off after the footballer and the reality TV stars attended to launch of the video game Modern Warfare 3 and Joey questioned the right that the TOWIE members had to be there. What ensued then was a series of 140 character blows in which neither party came off looking too pretty. I would like to say that I hope that both sides have learned their lessons when it comes to the effect of twitter battles, but in reality I give it 24 hours before the next spat begins.

DUBAI AIRPORTS FLASH MOB (Lewis)

You all probably remember the T-Mobile advert when a flash mob appears singing and dancing when passengers arrive. Dancers in Dubai have decided to take the flash mob to their airport. It starts off with a small group of air hostesses then gradually gets bigger. You can’t imagine this breaking out in Edinburgh Airport but it would still be cool to see. However, as you will see in the video everyone is watch the dancers and put off…who’s watching out someone carrying over 100ml on the plane…TERROR

HEXING HITLER (Aimee)

There are dozens upon dozens of documented assassination plots aimed to eradicate Adolf Hitler, a man who has come to be regarded as a universal symbol of evil.  After strolling the net I came across a very unconventional plan which deviated from the usual bomb/shooting attempts, of course none of which proved successful.  On the night on January 22, 1941 a youthful band of idealists met in secret with the single mission to kill Adolf Hitler by voodoo incantation.  The hex party, inspired by William Seabrook’s book on the powers of witchcraft, featured a dressmaker’s dummy, a Nazi uniform, nails, axes, tom-toms and plenty of Jamaica rum.  Inspired by Seabrook they invited him to join their meeting, an offer he instantly took up seeing it as a chance to test his theories and offer a service to mankind.  This is very interesting pictured account of how those during a desperate time attempted to change the world by employing unusual, maybe slightly mental methods.  Imagine how history could have been re-written in the event that this experiment had been a success!

CHRISTMAS VIDEO GAMES? DON’T MISS THIS LINK (Adrian)

If you’re a gamer, all the talk at the moment is about Modern Warfare 3, which looks set to be the fastest-selling game of the year, if not ever. But while Microsoft and Sony currently have the console market stitched up, you should never discount Nintendo from making a comeback. Sure, the offerings on the Wii have been pretty poor of late, but that could all change by Christmas with the release of the latest Legend of Zelda game Skyward Sword. I’m a huge fan of the Zelda series, and there are few other franchises that are as consistently impressive as the one that follows Link on his quests through Hyrule. If this latest game is half as good as its predecessors, it could be a Christmas Renaissance for the much maligned Wii.

TO BELIEVE OR NOT TO BELIEVE? (Irina)

Are you in the mood for love? Have a look at a story about a  English girl who married a French after having heard nothing from each other in nearly two decades. They meet on holiday when she was a child and when she met him again by chance after 18 years they got married. She said: ‘I wasn’t to fall in love with a Frenchman but that wasn’t what fate had in store for me’. So, should we believe in faith or should we not?
