Citylets, Scotland’s leading lettings portal, has secured another piece of high-profile coverage after its latest data report was featured on landlord blog My Buy To Lets.
The report, which was unveiled earlier this month, showed that rental levels across Scotland were starting to fall as more people were putting properties up for rent after failing to sell them. It highlighted that, over the period January to March 2009, average rents in Scotland had decreased year-on-year by 1.1% to £638.
Citylets was launched in 1999 and is Scotland’s most successful lettings portal. Its quarterly report is the country’s only detailed and independent barometer of the rental market, based on 40,000 annual lettings through over 250 agents. It is now a respected tool among investors, landlords and letting agencies.
