Divino Enoteca Scotsman ReviewDivino Enoteca takes a bite out of PR Scotland with a review in Scotland’s national newspaper

The Scotsman features a review by Gaby Soutar who had a “vine romance” with Divino Enoteca when she visited the Edinburgh restaurant with her boyfriend. The review focuses on her complete experience at the Italian wine bar – the food, drink, service and ambience.

The Italian bar boasts one of Scotland’s extensive wine lists while also serving a range of traditional Italian dishes straight from the heart of Italy with a chef who has travelled from there especially and worked in Michelin starred restaurants such as II Gambero Rosso and Bestiari.

Gaby Soutar writes in the article: “He slurped his first offering enthusiastically” as she describes how Rolf, her dining partner takes his first sip of Montepulciano D’Abruzzo Tre Saggi 2009 wine. Gaby then goes on to quote what she selected for her main meal: “Seared tuna steak crusted in sesame seeds and thinly sliced creating a fantastic rainbow of colours accompanied by fresh grilled vegetables, to dip in tasty soy sauce” which she describes as “lovely”.

Gaby also writes: “I was rather shocked at how much I managed to scoff” and concludes with: “When in rome (or Divino Enoteca), take a drink. Go on, you know you want to.”

Divino Enoteca can be found at 5 Merchant Street, Edinburgh and is open Sunday to Friday from 3pm until midnight.

The full review can be read on the Scotsman’s website and was secured as part of a sustained PR campaign carried out by Holyrood PR.
