Leading Edinburgh letting expert Braemore Property Management has urged landlords to invest in their properties as the market becomes more competitive.
Colette Murphy, director with the firm which has been operating in the Scottish capital for 25 years, told The Scotsman landlords must improve their properties to continue attracting tenants.
She explained how the increasing numbers of properties coming onto the rental market are driving up bargaining power for tenants.
