Edinburgh engineering firm Reactec has been celebrating another successful display at a top health and safety showcase.

The firm was one of the exhibitors at the IOSH 2011 Conference and Exhibition – one of the UK’s biggest health and safety events – where it displayed its innovative HAVmeter technology to some of the biggest names in the industry.

Reactec’s Luke Barnes was on hand to talk about the firm’s safety devices as part of a video blog produced by health and safety magazine SHP Online. He highlighted how the innovative technology helps keep workers safe from Hand Arm Vibration Syndrome – otherwise known as “white finger” – and is quickly becoming the industry standard method of managing this risk in the workplace.
