The Corinthian Club in Glasgow is hosting tailored dance packages for groupsCalling all Dancing Queens…The Corinthian Club has come up with a winning move to help fun-loving ladies to put their best foot forward on the dance floor.

Already famed for its brasserie dining, casino and nightclub in the heart of Glasgow, The Corinthian Club has teamed up with a professional dance tutor to open the floor to women looking to celebrate an evening in style.

Customers can select their own theme for the Girlie Dance Packages from a list that includes everything from ‘Glee’ and ‘Grease’ to even burlesque. Costumes and props are also provided where available for each individual theme to allow for a truly authentic experience.

Julie McKim at The Corinthian Club said: “We’ve been inundated with requests from everyone from brides-to-be planning a hen night with a difference to company directors looking for an original take on team-building exercises.

“The classes are totally flexible to suit different tastes so we have a lot of fun coordinating really personal and original nights out for every group.

“The classes are a great way to spend an evening or start a memorable weekend. Many of the groups opt to complete the workshop then reward themselves with our cocktail master class, while others prefer to just dance and continue their evening in our nightclub to show off their new skills.

“We aim to provide everyone’s ideal experience at The Corinthian Club.”Taking place in The Club downstairs at The Corinthian Club, each dance package lasts up to two hours and is led by a professional dancer from MairiMeDance. Participants get a cocktail and canapés on arrival and throughout their event; they learn full choreography to songs of their choice.

Special Occasions

Whether celebrating a hen party, birthday or just a girly night out, groups can also have the option to take home a recording of their dance routine as a memento of the fun they had and the moves they’ve learned.

The venue can host intimate workshops for groups of up to 15 guests, or possibly larger parties with enough notice. Every package is tailored to individual requirements, so the experience is unique for each group.

Mairi Mclellan, the director of MairiMeDance in Glasgow, said: “Dancing is increasingly popular thanks to both its fitness benefits and its prevalence in popular culture. Dance troops and choreography are more fashionable than ever so we’re kept very busy by enthusiastic groups at The Corinthian Club.

“Our groups are interested to learn everything from infamous moves they saw in ‘Bring it On’ to the full routine to Beyonce’s ‘Single Ladies’.

“The classes are designed with fun in mind and there really is something for everyone whether you’re a seasoned dancer or a complete beginner.

Many groups sign up to try something different and find themselves coming away with new skills and a rhythm they never knew they had!”
