Telford College secures PR Scotland Coverage in Scotsman

Telford College in Edinburgh is taking positive steps towards helping Edinburgh’s youth into employment, by launching a new junior college for those aged between 16 and 19. A Scotsman online article announces the initiative, with the college say they are the first in the Capital to offer such an oppertunity.

The courses offered by the junior college will range from construction to creative design, and Head of Learner services, Myra McCabe, says that the new scheme will ‘ensure opportunities for training are  delivered in a way that is both attractive and accessible’. She also states that the new college will offer  ‘a real post-college link to employment’.

Applications for places at the college are open until the end of May, and courses will start in September.

The full coverage can be viewed on the Scotsman online and was achieved on behalf of Telford College thanks to the work of the Holyrood PR.
