Inspiring success of Belinda Roberts told in Hi-Tech Scotland Interview
NETWORKING QUEEN Belinda Roberts has told how she unwittingly found herself at the helm of a thriving tech business, thanks to tech PR.
In an interview with Hi-Tech Scotland magazine she revealed how launching an events based network group has led to her becoming a successful online businesswoman.
Winning Entrepreneurs has evolved into a web-based success story – which in turn has seen Belinda set up Vuru, a UK-wide online entrepreneurial forum and mentoring service, along with online Dragons Den judge Shaf Rasul.
However, she told the magazine her turning into the tech sector was unplanned and added: “I never imagined I would be running a technology based business given my background in recruitment and training.
“However, with Vuru being an e-commerce business, I have been on a steep learning curve over the past couple of months.”
Belinda’s interview appears in the July issue of the magazine (an online version can be viewed by registering at the Hi-Tech Scotland website), Scotland’s leading source of technological news.
It is the latest positve coverage for Winning Entrepreneurs, whose public relations in Scotland is handled by leading tech PR agency Holyrood PR.
