Celebrating a double landmark for Edinburgh property experts – with launch of TV sponsorship and new website
IT’S A good day to be in PR in Edinburgh – and an even better day to be in public relations here at Holyrood PR
The first piece of good news is that STV Edinburgh launches today and the entire team at our PR agency wants to see it flourish. We love the idea of a new channel, which is dedicated to everything about Auld Reekie.
In these complicated times many media outlets are struggling, so every bold new player is welcome. Public relations staff across the Scottish capital will be crossing their fingers and hoping the channel is a roaring success, while working out how best to get their clients featured.
Which brings us, rather neatly, to the second reason for celebration – one of our longest-standing clients will be sponsoring the new channel’s flagship programme, the Fountainbridge Show. Warners Solicitors and Estate Agents is doing its bit to help get the fledgling new TV channel off the ground, by backing the daily magazine-style show, which will be broadcast live every evening.
As part of our 10-year-long relationship with Warners, we were instrumental in spotting the sponsorship opportunity for the legal and property expert and brought together the firm’s senior people with executives from STV. Both parties are delighted with the opportunities created by the deal – which you can read about in our media release.
Of course Warners, already a household name across Edinburgh and Lothians, hopes the tie-up will it continue to boost the company’s very positive and hard-earned reputation as the capital slowly emerges from one of the most troubled periods the property sector has ever encountered.
However, today’s launch of STV Edinburgh isn’t the only major landmark for Warners – it is also the day the company launches its new website.
Once again, the team at Holyrood PR played a crucial role, providing long-term strategic counsel to the Warners team which helped shape the design and search engine optimisation work around the new website. We’ll also be working intensively with the firm over the coming months to ensure the website content delivers extra value to house hunters and other Warners clients, while we’ll also be leading the firm’s social media activity.
So, we’re kicking off this week by celebrating the launch of STV Edinburgh. Certainly the signs are good if the success of the sister channel, STV Glasgow, is anything to go by. Its been running for more than six months and is thriving.
We’d urge you to check out the new channel – and the Fountainbridge Show as sponsored by Warners – by tuning in via Freeview on Channel 23, on Sky at Channel 117 or through Virgin Media, where you’ll find it at Channel 159.
