Surgeon Quarter’s act of kindness reached 4.48 million people thanks to Hotel PR Agency.

IN MARCH, Ten Hill Place Hotel, owned by Surgeons Quarter and The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (RSCEd), opened its doors to frontline NHS workers tackling Covid-19.

Located three miles from the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh and the Royal Hospital for Sick Children, the hotel provided much-needed nearby accommodation and meals for key workers. This proved invaluable to guests facing tiring commutes and those who were isolating from vulnerable family members.

As the hotel surpassed its 200th booking, we shared the extraordinary gesture with local, national and hospitality media.

Highlights included:

  • Prime coverage in both The Herald and The Guardian
  • 54 cuttings secured
  • 15 items of social coverage, reaching 984,481 users
  • Creating a total of 4.48 million opportunities to see

The campaign has enhanced the reputation of Surgeon Quarter, as we worked with the business to make sure it amplified the help to the frontline workers in the pandemic.

Surgeons Quarter promotes, sells and manages all commercial activities held within the RCSEd campus, which includes the Ten Hill Place Hotel. All profits support the charitable objectives of improving education, assessment, and advancement in surgical standards worldwide.
