Property PR coverage montage for Warners' start to 2019

PROPERTY PR experts share the successful media coverage from working with Warners estate agents.

Scotland’s PR experts the Holyrood PR have secured another major success for Warners after the firm’s views about Home Reports were featured in The Scotsman.

The national broadsheet ran a double page spread that reviewed the impact of the Home Report legislation, which came into effect last year. Under the legislation, all properties being put onto the market now have a Home Report attached to them, which includes a valuation, survey and energy performance certificate.

Warners’ Estate Agency Partner Scott Brown said that the reports had proved beneficial for sellers in Scotland, as buyers are more willing to choose a property which has a Home Report over one that doesn’t. He also said that the reports meant that many sellers were now being more realistic about the price they expected for their properties – which was helping encourage activity in the market.

The full story appeared in The Scotsman and was as a result of a campaign carried out by Scottish PR experts the Holyrood PR.

A leading Scottish law publication has reported on a recent claim by Warners that the market is firming up – which was based on steady sales figures recorded by the firm in recent weeks.

The Journal, which is read by solicitors and legal staff across the country, ran a story which highlighted how Warners had recorded sales figures between 13-14 per week in recent months.

The figures were the best sustained sales stats to be seen at the firm since early 2008. Estate agency partner Scott Brown said that the figures showed that the market was improving, as sellers were becoming more realistic about the prices they expected for their proeprties.

Edinburgh’s leading property solicitor Warners has been celebrating after receiving another high-profile piece of press coverage in The Scotsman.

The daily broadsheet newspaper reported on claims by the firm that Home Reports and more realism among buyers and sellers were changing the face of Scotland’s property market.

Warners, which has been the number one solicitor in Edinburgh in terms of sales in the ESPC for the past decade, said that greater realism in the market was leading to a surge in sales – as buyers look to secure a bargain before the market recovers. Estate agency partner Scott Brown said that sellers were now willing to accept lower prices rather than risk months of having their property on the market, which was leading to the bounce in transactions.

The full coverage appeared in The Scotsman’s Smart Money section.
