Holyrood PR Raises PR Scotland Profile with News Coverage
Scott Douglas, managing director of The Holyrood Partnership, has been approached by STV News to comment on a high profile court case involving Tommy Sheridan.
As a former tabloid journalist, Scott spoke of the serious allegations being discussed in the case as well as his experience working in the newspaper and media world.
The STV story details Tommy Sheridan who has launched an inquest after his private details were found in possession of a private investigator working for The News of the World.
Scott explains: “Currently the competition for stories across the press is fierce resulting in more extreme tactics being employed to get the best story, often resulting in unethical measures.”
He added that he believes this is a clear example of tabloids bending the rules in order to get the juiciest gossip, resulting in conflict.
The video can be found on the STV website.
