Excellent PR in Scotland for Charity Fashion Show with Edinburgh Evening News

Models from this year’s Edinburgh Charity Fashion Show have been in the spotlight this week after appearing in a two page fashion spread in the Edinburgh Evening News.

Student Hamish Crook was among some of the male models who appeared in the fashion spread wearing up and coming designer Coryn Dickson. The clothes in Coryn’s collection are perfect for this year’s show which is themed around decadence and rock ‘n’ roll.

Now in its twelfth year the fashion show has raised more than £250,000 for various charities such as Marie Curie, Poppy Scotland and more recently Break Through Breast Cancer.

The fashion show which is organised by students from Edinburgh University will be raising some much needed funds for children’s hospice charity (CHAS) and will be hoping to do this through ticket sales.

Caroline Welles, chair of the show’s committee said “The show is back with a bang this year and the chosen theme very much sets it apart from previous shows we’ve done.

“We are delighted to have such a great variety of designers taking part. Every year we are surprised with the amount of support we receive from the fashion community, and this year has been no different.

Sponsered by the UK’s leading rental portal Citylets, this year’s show takes place at Summerhall, (the former Royal Dick veterinary school) from March 29-31. Tickets are available from £25 and can be purchased at http://xtspro.com/-/ecfs-2012.
